Ask Speaker Saiki and Rep. Onishi to Raise the Wage
In Hawaii the state determined that $17/hr is needed for full-time workers to survive. The minimum wage is only $10.10/hr, leaving thousands of workers struggling to get by.
The Hawaii State Senate has passed a $12 by 2022 minimum wage bill and it awaits a hearing in the House. Speaker Saiki and Rep. Onishi decide whether this bill will die or move on.
The house has blocked a minimum wage vote many times, so it'll take all of our efforts to push them to pass it.
Please send them a message here requesting a hearing and to give workers a true living wage.
