Living Wage Hawaii is seeking a motivated, dynamic Program Development Intern to join our team. Living Wage Hawaii is the campaign of a Honolulu based non-profit seeking to raise the minimum wage to a living wage.
The Program Development Intern will help find and create funding opportunities while also coordinating with Living Wage Hawaii’s leadership team to fulfill the organization’s mission.
Essential Duties:

Provide donation opportunities for interested parties

Develop and implement fundraising strategy for the next legislative cycle

Create and identify fundraising events

Grow relationships with leading donors

Facilitate communication between Living Wage Hawaii executive team and donors
Preferred Qualities:

Self-starter with a passion for raising the minimum wage to a living wage

Respect for and interest in relationships with donors

Excellent interpersonal skills

Strong willingness to learn and adapt

Ability to travel in the Honolulu neighborhood
Compensation
This is a volunteer position.
Duration:
